What do you guys think of a hairy, cute little Troll in a cage? We just rattle the bars from time to time, we feed him once or twice a week, people have fun, he trolls around, everybody's happy.

Death threat over the phone other then the internet is more scary cause they have your phone number and they must know you in real life. Unlike the internet were you just always meet people at random and no one takes people in the interweb serious any way.

If i was a mod i would just think you were another forum nerd who is not getting his way in a argument so you call the other people a troll just to get them banned so you can get your goodies off to it.

oooo low blow "nerd community". Id seriously hate to break your bubble, but online gamers are not nerds. In fact far from what you would typically call a nerd like an IT Professional or something in most cases. Just take a look at the tech support forum. And IF you'd like to call me a nerd, I'd have to say thank you, becuase someone like me ell' be fixing your computer tommorrow after an angry mob sends trojans to your email address. Oh yea and you would ow them money, no scam there

omw, some more random spam.

/me tried to figure out why he is in this thread, take out popcorn and clicks submit.

Oh, yes, because we all know that you have to know who you're calling before you punch numbers into a phone . Ever heard of prank calls?

You guys need to stop the arguing all together. You cannot say Hellraiser is an idiot. You cannot say he is inconsiderate. You cannot say any of this because you do not know him. You do not know the real him.

By insulting him, you are guilty of which you accuse. You say he insulted other people and intentionally hurt them 'cause he is mean. You say he has no heart for others. Now what are you doing to him? You are insulting him though you do not know him. You say he is completely wrong, and you do not even listen to him. Is this not what you accuse him of?

Just stop arguing. Nothing constructive is coming from this. If you want to have a constructive conversation, stop accusing eachother. Start by listing the facts, then list your opinions and views, then try to understand the others' opinions and views, then come to a mutual agreement.

Even if your numbers unlisted from the phone book? If some one gives me a death threat over the phone it would be taken more seriously then one over the internet.

Internet is a wierd place like that.

Hahaha...why is Eyahl's lable..."Sir"...? Sorry, I just found that...odd. Is that a post-count title?

Anyway, yes I'd agree with you Eyahl. Insulting someone over the internet in a game is just like calling them on the phone, or ringing their doorbell and doing the same thing. Except with less of a chance they'll find you and hammer you into the ground.

People like this HellRaiser guy who go and waste 8 hours of peoples lives, and steal things from them have no right to justify themselves by saying "It's just a game", yeah but just wasted 8 hours of the guy's life. And you wouldn't have done it if it didn't benefit YOU. So if you can BENEFIT from a game, obviously you can be affected by the game in a NEGATIVE way just the same.

If it's just a game, why did you bother stealing his black dye, and why did you take advantage of his efforts if it's only a game and it doesn't mean anything? You did it because it DOES affect you, it helped you out in the game. While it wasted his time. Saying "it's just a game" doesn't make a damn bit of difference.

Even if he just did it for "fun" and not for anything else. You took away 8 hours of "fun" from the other guy, which affects his day just the same as it would if his car ran out of gas and he was 8 hours away from home or something.

In fact Hellraiser you wouldn't even be arguing this point if it didn't matter. Unless you're just a lifeless preteen with nothing better to do. We're all here on a regular basis, we all play the game, we all use the time in our lives to do such things. And when you ruin their good time, whether it by by insulting them, scamming them, or punching them in the face, you still did it.

Cheers.

And you were the one saying "Another one taking online gamming too far".

First off, By continuesly posting arguments, you are encouraging Hellraiser to post. If you want to prove your point, leave it alone. There are always going to be people who will continuesly try to insult others, and try to gain some sort of pride from that.

One, or even five people can't change an online community consisting of over 100,000 people. Trust me... I was one who hated all the dupes on Battle.net, and i played completly legit, i tried to get people to stop using dupes, and hacks, theres no point trying. And, before you ask me, what does this have to do with insults, it doesnt, but its the same general idea.

But, i completly agree with everything being said. If you are insulting someone in the game, you might as well come right up to their face and say it. You make the choices, not the computer, not Arena.Net. Personnaly, i've learnt to tune out the insultes, but, i know it must feel degrading when you have people calling you Noob, because you made a mistake, or failed to live up to the expected standards of everyone else.

Another point i would like to bring up is the scamming. I despise scammers. Coming from the Battle.net d2 Trade forums, i've seen lots of it. HellRaiser, there are many reasons not to trust people in game, personnaly, i dont trust anyone, but thats not a reason to have to prove it to them, by scamming them. The people who take the game seriously, are the people who think they need to scam, to be better then everyone. You shouldnt care wether or not your better, taken from your own words, its just a game.

Sorry... i had to jump in. But, seriously, just drop this.

MM

Immature comments in a game where people are asked to treat each other like adults always results in one action by me.

I send a screeshot of your sorry ass to arena net with a complaint. Count on it. And when you've disappeared from my "freinds" list, I don't wonder why.
